Been MIA but received LOTD!

I've been really wrapped up with things on the home front lately and just haven't had time to do anything and I mean anything. However, the last few days I was able to put together a layout with a neat kit. I posted it on Scrapable and it received Layout of The Day!! It was designed using the Wild Kitty kit from Spinky Dink Scraps.

I'm working on designing a siggy with this one but knowing how busy things have been lately it might take me a while!

Gotta Grunge!

I came across this great grunge paper and element kit that was a freebie (at least when I snagged it) and had to put it to use. Luckily, I had some cute new photos of my little guy playing with his new gardening tools (ok, so he just carried them around and didn't do much, LOL). Don't you just love my little gardener? The kits are Moody Grunge papers and elements by Mel Hains Designs. I also used some of my own eyelets and flower vine shapes as accents.

I Received LO of the Day!!!!

What a surpise to see a comment on my layout at one of the galleries saying that I received "Layout of the Day". I followed the link and while I cannot read most of it (I believe it is German) the comments were nice.

Check out this Cool Kit!

Lindsay at Spinky Dink Scraps came out with a fabulous new kit called Keston II. I LOVE this kit. It is soooo charming. The papers are gorgeous and the embellishments are so fun! Here are a couple layouts I did with the kit along with a matching siggy.

Here's my new siggy I'm now using on my forums. I really liked my wagon combo so I decided to use it again for this!

Ok, one more siggy and I'll give this kit a break for a day or two!

So what do you think? Nice, huh? Better hop over to Spinky Dink Scraps and pick this awesome kit up!

Spring Siggy Celebration!

With winter weather finally winding down there is no better way to celebrate than with a few spring siggies! These past three weeks has been a flurry (excuse the winter pun!) of activity from cutting household costs to the bare bones to dealing with taxes. But now for some fun!

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the collab kit I am Toddler, Hear Me Roar from Spinky Dink Scraps and Simply Scraps. These first two siggies are designed using it. Thanks, Ladies, for a great toddler kit!

He may be a rough and ready to rumble little guy but he loves flowers! I used a favorite of mine, the Corduroy and Lace kit from Spinky Dink Scraps.

By the way, check out the great sales Spinky Dink Scraps is having. A ton of new products to get your hands on! She's been busy!

One more siggy to celebrate the two warm days we had here! I was looking for a really cute Alpha and found it in a cute Freebie kit called It's a Boy Thing from Kat's Creations.

Are You Ready for Spring?

Are you ready for spring yet? I cannot even begin to tell you how tired I am of cold weather and snow! Bring that sunshine and warmer weather on!!

What do you think of my latest siggy and layout? This whole kit is nothing short of fabulous! I'll most likely be putting together a couple more sigs or layouts with this one. Be sure to pick the Corduroy and Lace kit from Spinky Dink Scraps (under the Latest Products on the right side). Oh, and check out the siggy templates as well. I used one from her Siggy Template Pack 1.

Just in Time for Valentine's Day!

Ok, so I've admitted that layouts really intimidate me. Not anymore! Granted I haven't designed many but I think this is my best so far!

Let me give credit where credit is due. Here are the kits I used:
-Forever Mine kit from Spinky Dink Scraps
-Valentine Collab kit at Cotton Candy Kreations featuring Spinky Dink Scraps.
-Valentine Love Collab kit at Srappin' Out Loud again featuring Spinky Dink Scraps.

Showcase Layouts

I have to say making a layout takes me forever. Don't ask me why. I just find them so intimidating!! LOL! Here's my attempt at my third LO designed using the Fly Me To The Moon kit from Spinky Dink Scraps.

Showcase Siggy

Oh what a relief that today is a nice sunny day for a change! It inspired me to work on a new siggy. So, here it is! (Not too many pics of Pranava to choose from lately so the snow digs will have to do, LOL)

I used a kit titled Valentine designed by Debbie. Isn't it just sweet?!

Not Feeling too Creative Lately

This northern Midwest weather really has taken a toll on me the last few weeks. It has been so hard to feel creative or inspired. However, yesterday and today were actually pleasant days and voila! I created a new siggy using the Fly Me to the Moon kit at Spinky Dink Scraps.

Showcase Siggy

My friend, Debbie, from a mutual parenting forum put together a really cute kit called All Boy. I just loved the elements and had to make an animated siggy! (Unfortunately, it gets a little cut off on the right side.) I also used a modified siggy template from Spinky Dink Scraps.

Showcase Layouts

I've finally ventured over into the layout territory. The shadows in this photo just made me think about eclipses (who knows why...). So naturally I have titled this piece "spring eclipse". Elements from Dreaming of Spring kit by Spinky Dink Scraps and Simply Scraps.

Let's Get This Show on the Road!

Wow, what fun this has been trying to set up a blog for the first time! I've been wanting to showcase some of my photo projects for some time now. Thanks to Lindsay at Spinky Dink Scraps for helping me get started!

Most of these photo projects are siggies which I love designing. There will be a few layouts here and there and at some point I'll be putting up some of my own homemade scrapping elements. For now let's get this show on the road!

Showcase Siggies - Part 2

This is one of my absolute favorites. Not only was it fun designing this but the photos of my little boy, Pranava, are just too darn cute! It was designed using the Winter Wonderland kit from Spinky Dink Scraps.

Continuing with the winter/ice theme is another designed with the Spinky Dink Winter Wonderland kit.

Who can resist these expressions? My little guy is such a ham for the camera when he wants to be. Other times he just looks at me like I'm goofy.

This boy has so many expressions that it is hard to capture them all in photos. I used the Keston Mini Kit again from Spinky Dink Scraps. Oh, and I also used a siggy template from there as well!

Serious botanical study taking place!

Showcase Siggies - Part 1

This past summer I had fun with many of the summer themed kits and especially had fun designing this siggy. My initial idea was of a beach boardwalk. See if you can feel that from this siggy. Summer Fun kit by JulieItIs.

Well I certainly can't forget to highlight Pranava's birthday siggy using elements from the Playroom2 kit from MirkaK.

What a handsome little guy! All Good Things kit from Spinky Dink Scraps.

This was one of my first siggies put together during tornado season. Boy Zone kit by Aprilmouse blogspot.
